Matt Ronen is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Cicero Institute. In his role, he is responsible for creating and implementing innovative, business-minded solutions to address critical public sector problems. Before joining Cicero, Matt held various positions including Chief Operating Officer of a technology company, Founder of a national service organization, and Brand Manager at a consumer packaged goods company. Earlier in his career, Matt served as an infantryman in the Israel Defense Forces. Matt is a member of the Leadership Council at the Service Year Alliance, which is working to make a full-time ‘service year’ a common expectation and opportunity for all young Americans. His work has been featured in numerous outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, Bloomberg, Time, and NPR. Matt earned a B.A. in English and Economics from Colorado College, where he was President of the Student Government, and an M.B.A from Cornell University, where he was a teaching assistant.
